The ghosts of Rosebank

This came yesterday, looks like the exciting Falkirk Distillery project has cleared its major planning hurdles and is hurtling towards reality.

After a three year planning procedure, the Scottish Government has issued full planning consent for the £5m distillery, which will also feature a visitor centre and restaurant.
The company behind the scheme is also acquiring all the stuff from the Rosebank distllery which was closed in 1993 by DCL.

I like the fact that the internals from this great silent distillery will eventually flow with spirit again, albeit at another site. Rosebank lives on in another form.
